Noted Spanish fashion designer Cristóbal Balenciaga’s fashion house is showing wide gold-toned cuff bracelets as accessories for the Fall Ready-To-Wear collection. Couturier to the rich and famous, the USA’s most famous fan was First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy. He also served as mentor to other famous designers such as Oscar de la Renta, Emanuel Ungaro and Hubert de Givenchy.
Closed in 1972 after the designer’s death, the house of Balenciaga was reopened in 1986. Contemporaneous fans are Jennifer Connelly and Nicole Kidman, who wore a Balenciaga gown for her wedding to Keith Urban.
What Is a Cuff Bracelet?
